Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. All conversions happen locally in your browser using the Canvas API. We only check that you are a real user to prevent abuse.
What formats are supported?
Input: PNG, JPG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, and SVG. Output: PNG, JPG, WebP. Very large or externally-linked SVGs may not render in every browser.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes, 15 MB on the web. For larger files or batch conversion, download the Clever AI app.
Why do images stay on my device?
The converter uses your browser’s Canvas API, so pixels are not uploaded to our servers. We only verify you are a real visitor to limit automated abuse.
Will converting reduce quality?
JPG is lossy; PNG and WebP can be lossless depending on options. Use a higher quality setting for JPG when you need smaller files with fewer artifacts.
